Exciting news

As I’ve written a lot lately (including in my latest newsletter) action—especially in the form of contribution—is the antidote to loneliness, despair, anger, and feeling stuck.

So, I decided to take my own advice.

A few weeks ago, I created a weekly Encouragement Circle—a space for people who, like me, are grappling with what’s happening in this country. A space to be heard, to listen, to process, and to leave a little more encouraged and hopeful than we came.

To my surprise, my invitation also resonated beyond borders, drawing participants from around the world. This inspired me to launch a second group: World Encouragement Circle. Though the contexts are different, the heart of the conversation remains the same: How do we feel encouraged? How do we become sources of encouragement for others?

I’m honored by the trust people have placed in these spaces. And grateful for the opportunity to contribute—even in a small way—to something bigger than myself.

Both groups are free and open weekly. If you could use a little encouragement (or have some to share), I’d love for you to join us.

I became The Challenge Coach because I have been, and still am, a challenged human. Life throws us challenges when we very least expect them. The better prepared we are to handle them, the better we can deal with them. When we are trained to deal well with the problems life sends our way, not only do we survive our challenges: we learn to THRIVE through them.

I want to help YOU build and grow your own “life challenge resilience” toolbox. It is in that spirit that I created a monthly Challenge Coach newsletter, in which I share practical tips and advice to equip you to tackle your next life challenges.

You can sign up here and also read the posts in the blog section of my website.

This month we explore what to do when you can’t go on.
