The Parenting Hour

If you’ve found your way here,

there’s probably something at home that isn’t sitting right these days.

Not necessarily something dramatic—but something that keeps coming back and slowly wears you down.

You find yourself repeating the same things, reacting in ways you don’t particularly like, and ending the day more exhausted than you expected. And underneath it all, there’s often that uncomfortable feeling of not really knowing what to try next.

That is exactly the space this hour is meant to hold.

A weekly space for parents who feel overwhelmed and don’t know what to do.

What is The Parenting Hour

I created The Parenting Hour as a place where you can bring what is actually happening in your day-to-day life as a parent.

Not a polished version of it. Not what you wish were happening. But the real situations that leave you feeling stuck, discouraged, or unsure.

Together, we take the time to:

  • Slow things down
  • Understand what may be driving what’s happening
  • Think through new ways of responding that feel both more grounded and more effective

What You’ll Experience

Not a Traditional Class

The work comes from what you and the other parents bring into the room. At the same time, our conversations are grounded in Adlerian psychology and Positive Discipline, so we’re not only addressing the moment in front of you—but the deeper dynamics underneath it.

We pay attention to things like:

  • Belonging
  • Discouragement
  • Power struggles
  • Patterns that repeat themselves in families
Small shifts over time

Often, one parent’s situation opens insight for everyone, because most of us are wrestling with some version of the same dynamics—even when they look different on the surface.

What tends to happen is not that your children magically change overnight.

What does change is that you begin to understand what’s actually going on. You feel less lost in it. You react a little differently—sometimes just by a small degree—but that shift is often enough to change how things unfold at home.
