SUMMARY:NASAP | TLC SECTION November Meeting
DESCRIPTION:It’s time to get the Leaders and Coaches of NASAP’s TLC section together again: our next meeting is Wednesday November 5th\, at 8am EST (please note the different time! This time we meet in the morning\, US time\, to allow for people in Europe and Asia to join us as well). \nAt our first meeting of the year back in September\, we discussed what we should keep doing\, what we should stop doing and what new things we could do in addition. \nAt our next meeting we will PRACTICE coaching. There might be demos\, there might be tag-team coaching\, there definitely will be debriefings and Q&A … we will see how the mood strikes us depending on who shows up. We hope many of you will come\, since this always enriches the experience for all.

SUMMARY:COURS DE PARENTALITÉ POSITIVE | Week 7
SUMMARY:PEP Master Class: Encouragement: A 4-Week Online Class for Parents
DESCRIPTION:Encouragement is the KEY ingredient that makes all other parenting strategies work. And really\, understanding how to encourage your child is not as easy as it sounds. \nThis class is where parents build the foundation for their approach and answer the question "What kind of parent do I want to be?" You wouldn’t build a house on a weak foundation; likewise\, you can’t help children develop into capable\, resilient adults (that is the goal!) when day-to-day interactions and relationships are steeped in a negative\, discouraging spin cycle. \nIn this class\, you'll learn encouragement strategies and techniques to build a better connection with your child. Parents find that many of the challenges leading them to PEP -- defiance\, power struggles\, screen time issues -- become less problematic when they have tools to foster their child's independence\, resilience\, and cooperation. \nClass Dates \nFriday\, January 30 - Friday\, February 27\, 2026 \nHow the Class Works \nBeginning Friday\, January 30th\, you'll receive a new Video Lesson to watch at your convenience on any device! Subsequent lessons will be released on Tuesdays after the class discussions.\nYou'll also receive "Try This at Home" exercises\, relevant handouts and articles. Completing the weekly materials takes less than 20 minutes each week.\nThroughout the week\, get ongoing ideas and support by posting your questions for the instructor.\nJoin live\, weekly class discussions with the instructor from 8:30 - 9:30 pm ET on Wednesday evenings beginning February 4th.\nBest of all\, the class videos\, handouts and materials are available to you for one year to review and revisit as needed!\nThis Course Includes \n4 Instructional Video Lessons that are short (5-6 minutes each) and packed with practical tips and advice to use right away. Video lessons include role plays that demonstrate real life examples of what to say and do\, and what NOT to say and do! \n5 "Try This At Home" Exercises to put each lesson into immediate practice with your family. \n5 Topical PEP Parenting Articles to dig deeper into the topics. \n7 Handy printouts with examples and language to use with your children\, and which you can post nearby to keep you on track. \n4 Live\, online Class Discussions with your PEP class instructor who will answer your questions (you can post them in advance). \nAn easy-to-access online forum where you will receive Weekly Tips and get your questions answered. \nHow Much Time Will This Take? \nThat depends on you. Learning these new parenting skills is like learning a new language; it takes practice. \nReviewing the instructional videos and handouts will take about 20 minutes. The Try This At Home exercises are designed to fit into and improve your everyday life. The online Class Discussions are 1 hour each week. And the Class Discussion Forum takes as much or as little time as you want to contribute. As always\, the more you participate\, the more you benefit. \nWhat if I'm Unhappy With This Class? \nIf you're unhappy with your purchase\, contact us in the first 30 days and we'll give you a refund. \nWho Is This Class For? \nThe core concepts taught in this class are applicable to parents of children from preschoolers to teens -- in fact\, the concepts apply to all relationships! \nNOTE: If you need a certificate of completion for taking this parenting course\, it will be issued automatically once you complete all sections. \nHave More Questions? \nEmail us at Teachable@pepparent.org \nYour Instructor \nPascale is a Certified Parent Educator with the Parent Encouragement Program.
